Jimmie Lee Wood

Jimmie Lee Wood, 69, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away on December 1, 2011. He was born May 1, 1942, in Parkersburg, W.Va. a son of the late David Roberson and Myrtle Shinault Wood. Jimmie retired from the former Diamond Glass and later worked at the K-Mart of Vienna. His wife and their two sons were his proudest accomplishment and were the loves of his life. He was also a member of the Grand Central Church of Christ.Surviving is his loving wife, Carolyn R. Frazier Wood; his sister, Ruth Wood Dye of Parkersburg; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his two precious sons, Troy and David Wood.Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday December 5, 2011, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, W.Va. with Richard Long, Ryan Ice, and Jim Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.
