Jean Earle Parker, 80 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away October 18, 2013 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.He was born November 20, 1932 in Wood County, W.Va., a son of the late Phillip and Virginia Forshey Parker.Jean retired from the B & O (CSX) Railroad as a mechanical car technician. He graduated from Parkersburg High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army. Jean was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Vienna. He enjoyed collectingstamps and coins.He is survived by his wife, Lucinda Snider (Hutchinson) Parker; two step-daughters, Sherry Osburn (Nick) of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Shelia Lamp (Randy) of Vienna, W.Va.; one son, Leslie Parker (Lisa) of Texas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents Jean was preceded in death by his first wife, Patty Parker; one brother, Floyd Parker; and one sister, Roberta Holbert.As per his wishes there will be no visitation or services.
