Jayne W. Leachman

Jayne W. Leachman, 71Jayne was born on Dec. 13, 1942 in Belpre to John (Doc) and Winefred (Winny) Barnhart Leibrand.She lived in Parkersburg and Daytona Beach Shores, Florida and was formerly of Belpre. She passed in Daytona Beach Shores at home, after losing her battle with cancer, on April 10 and returned to Heaven where she was already an angel.She graduated from Belpre High School in 1960 and went to the Camden Clark School of Radiology where she worked for 17 years, and then went into Real Estate, which she did for the next 25 years.She was a exceptionally loving and caring person who never met a stranger. She was always optimistic and loved life. She loved pickle ball, tennis, boating, traveling, new adventures and meeting new people whom she instantly turned into good friends. She also liked to walk the dogs at the Parkersburg Humane Society. She had a lot of people that loved her and she was devoted to them all. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.She is survived by her loving husband William Leachman of Parkersburg and Daytona Beach Shores, Florida. A loving daughter, Shelly r. Jenkins of Davie, Florida. Her grandson, Nathan of Davie, Florida; two step-children, Jennifer Leachman Lapoint of Orlando, Florida and Todd Leachman of California. Step-grandchildren, Taylor and Mattole, Betty Streng her former mother-in-law, and several cousins.Per her request she was cremated in Florida and her memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10th at 11:00 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna,with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home. A celebration of Jayne's life will continue at Buzzy Dils river lot in Vienna, immediately following services.
