Jay Butz

Jay L. Butz, 71, of Belpre, OH passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at his home. He was born January 30, 1953, a son of Claire Butz of Clinton, IA and the late Erma Steines Butz. Jay worked over 30 years at the Dupont plant.
He is survived by one daughter, Kaitlin Butz of Parkersburg, WV; one son, Michael Butz (Charlotte) of Vienna, WV; four brothers, Jan Butz of Camanche, IA, Joel Butz of Clinton IA, Jerry Butz (Julie) of Nashville, TN, Jon Butz (Tammy) of Camanche, IA; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and 16 special nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, Erma Steines Butz; Jay was preceded in death by his stepmother, Geraldine Butz.
Keeping with Jay’s wishes, there will be no services.
