Jimmy Berry, 67 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away April 22, 2014 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.He was born June 26, 1946 in Glenville, W.Va. son of Wanda L. Coberly Berry of Parkersburg and the late Robert V. Berry. He loved attending church, going to nursing homes and ball games with his friend and caregiver, Bob Grimm. He also enjoyed working crossword puzzles. He attended Hope Freewill Baptist Church in Parkersburg.In addition to his mother, Jimmy is survived by a sister, Judith Smith (Carl) of Lagrange, Ohio; nephews, Mark Smith of Lagrange, Ohio and Tory Smith of Cincinnati, Ohio; niece, Leanne Rufo (Art) of Vermilion, Ohio; five great-nephews, John and Mike Rufo, and Ryan, Alan and Austin Smith; and one great-niece, Renee Smith.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 25, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Martin “Bud” Corbin and Norman Butler officiating. Burial will follow at the Meadowlane Cemetery in Glenville, W.Va. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
