Jacob Dias Deal

Jacob Dias “Jake” Deal, 25 of Lubeck, W.Va. passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011 at his residence. He was born March 27, 1986 in Pirmasens, Germany, a son of Michael A. Deal of Belpre, Ohio and Sherri Johnson Bunner of Lubeck, W.Va. Jake was a 2004 graduate of Belpre High School and enjoyed painting, artwork, and playing the guitar. He attended South Parkersburg Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his step-father Jerry Bunner of Lubeck, W.Va.; daughter, Gretchen Anna Deal and her mother Amy Johnson of Marietta, Ohio; a sister, Bethany M. Deal; a brother, Zachary A. Deal; and step- brother Gerrold L. Bunner II all of Lubeck, W.Va.; paternal grandfather, Larry Deal of Trimble, Ohio; maternal grandfather, Leonard Johnson of Nelsonville, Ohio; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Jake was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Janet K. Williams; and his paternal grandmother, Nancy Deal. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the South Parkersburg Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Busch officiating. Interment will follow at the Maplewood Cemetery, Glouster, Ohio.
