Iva Mae Potter

Iva Mae Potter, 99, of Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Vincent, Ohio passed away quietly in her sleep on December 22, 2013. She was born November 16, 1914, a daughter of the late James and Otie McCrackin Rader of Parkersburg, W.Va., the oldest of nine children.She was retired in 1981 from the Warren Local School District.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Joseph William Potter.She is survived by four children, Mrs. Josephine Spencer (Eugene) of Vincent, Ohio, Mrs. Christine Starkey (Richard), Mr. Charles Potter (Julie), and Ms. Sally Potter, all of Fort Myers, Florida. She also has seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and scores of nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio, with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Interment will follow at Veto Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
