Herman Martin Bailey

Herman Martin Bailey, 80, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away February 14, 2014.He was born January 24, 1934 in Moundsville, W.Va., a son of George and Georgia Bailey.Herman was employed at Gatewood Products of Vienna, W.Va. and also Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Parkersburg.He is survived by his wife, Barbara Best Bailey; two sons, William Story of Huntington, W.Va. and John Story (Kris) of Zanesville, Ohio; one sister, Hilda Bailey of Parkersburg; three grandchildren, William Story, Jr., Candice Story and Amanda Thompson; and one great-grandchild, Maxx Thompson.He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Earl, Ralph and Homer Bailey; and two sisters, Lucille and Ruby.A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until time of services.
