Hensley Otis Johnson

Hensley O. “Grizz” Johnson, 60, of Rockport, W.Va. passed away Feb. 18, 2012, at Camden-Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.He was born Nov. 22, 1951, in West Hamlin, W.Va., a son of the late Ishmael and Wilma Spencer Johnson.He was employed for 25 years with Essroc Concrete, formerly Arrow, as a driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and all outdoor activities. He was also a life member of the NRA.Survivors include one brother, Olaf Johnson of Fleming, Ohio; two sisters, Sarah (Ed) Arnott of Veto, Ohio, and Casandra (Richard) Poling of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Ed Leisure officiating. Burial will follow at Rockport Section of Big Tygart Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
