The Rev. Henry Dallas Lee, 80, of Parkersburg, passed away May 26, 2013, at Camden Clark Medical Center, St. Joseph's Campus.He was born Jan. 30, 1933, in Wood County, a son of the late Walter A. and Ida Leasure Lee.Dallas was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, was retired after 20 years service from the Parkersburg Fire Department, worked as a heavy equipment operator, had worked at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, was a Volunteer Chaplin at Eagle Pointe Nursing Care, was a member of Victory Assembly of God Church, and had received his Certificate of Ordination from the Assembly of God on May 13, 2010.He is survived by two daughters, Debra DeVaughn (Alan) of Parkersburg and Dolly Thompson (Jay) of Calhoun, Ga.; one son, Dr. Henry D. Lee Jr. (Deborah) of Asheville, N.C.; five grandchildren, Samuel Owen Lee, Brian Alan Rose, Rachel Lee Sowers, Jonathan Owen McKitrick and Eric Shayne Caltrider; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald Lee (Mary) and Milford “Bob” Lee; three sisters, Clara Lee, his twin sister, Mary Alice Rice and Jean Mullen (Webb); several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Tom and Linda Lambiotte.Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eva L. Mowery Lee; and several brothers and sisters.Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Victory Assembly of God Church, Turkey Foot Road, Mineral Wells, W.Va., with Pastors Kenneth Boone and Robert Holland officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum, with full military rights by American Legion Post 15 and Fire Department Honors by the Parkersburg Fire Department. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg, and one hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
