Hazel A. Newell

Hazel A. Newell, 58 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Willows Nursing Facility.She was born May 27, 1953 in Marietta, Ohio, a daughter of the late Crozier and Laura Greene Newell. Hazel previously worked at S&W Resources and had lived at the Horizon Group Home. She enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics, Tina's Dance Studio and loved Randy Travis music.Hazel is survived by her two sisters, Opal Mather of Pomeroy, Ohio and Edith Fitch and husband Darrell of Little Washington, PA.; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Floyd Newell; brother-in-law, Ronald L. Mather; and niece, Stacy Reen`e Mather.Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Rev. Sandy Runnion officiating. Interment will follow at the Herndon Chapel Cemetery.
