Gregory E. StarcherGregory E. Starcher, 21, of Rockport, W.Va. passed away on Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus from injuries sustained from an automobile accident.He was born January 16, 1992, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of Martin and Robin Kidwell Starcher of Rockport.Greg was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School with the class of 2011.He was employed at Wal-Mart, Patriot Center, south Parkersburg in the sporting good department.He was an avid hunter especially turkey hunting. In addition to his parents, he is survived by four sisters, Kimberly Caplinger of Parkersburg, Mary Starcher, Karri Starcher and Sherry Starcher, all of Rockport; paternal grandmother, Sheila Starcher of Parkersburg, maternal grandmother, Della Kidwell of Rockport; two nieces, Riley Starcher and Sophia Caplinger; a nephew, Dylan Caplinger; a very special uncle, John Schrebe; a special cousin, Daniel Starcher; and several aunts, uncles and cousinsHe was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Emmett Starcher; and an uncle, Marvin Starcher.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Pastor Alan Tennant and Pastor Everett Snyder officiating.Interment will follow at the Rockport section of the Big Tygart Cemetery, Rockport, W.Va.Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the Peoples Bank at the Wal-Mart Center, 2900 Pike Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101, to help with funeral expenses.
