Golda G Kersey

Golda G. Kersey, 85, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away on Nov. 3, 2014 at The Willows Center.She was born August 5, 1929, in Putnam County, W.Va., a daughter of the late James and Una Mae Withrow King.Golda was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts, flowers, playing Bingo and spending time with her family.She is survived by two daughters, Regina (David) Wilson of Washington, W.Va. and Mary Kersey of Vienna, W.Va.; one son, James (Barbara) Kersey of Spanaway, Wash.; one sister, Betty (Roy) Higginbotham of Circleville, Ohio; one brother, James (Josephine) King of Liberty, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ardis “Blue” and Purvis King; two sisters, Hilda Muck and Marie Beckner; and one granddaughter, Michelle.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with interment to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of services at the funeral home.
