Glenna Lorrain Ferrell

Our beloved mother, Glenna Lorrain Adkins Ferrell, 89, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 at her residence. She was born in Lincoln County at Branchland, WV on August 20, 1931 to Burl and Virgie Sanders Adkins. Glenna was a member of Eighteenth Street United Baptist Church in Huntington and attended Grace Baptist Church in Parkersburg. She was a prayer warrior and homemaker. She is survived by daughter, Brenda K. Stephens of Parkersburg; and son, Ronald A. Ferrell of Parkersburg; nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Garland Allen Ferrell; sisters, Ruby, Olive, Dorothy and Garnet; and brothers, Arthur, Hobart, Dearl, Earl and Lester. We are grateful to Amedisys Hospice and TLC for their wonderful care. A graveside service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville on Friday, November 27, 2020 at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Ron Hoy officiating.
