Glen Douglas Johnson, 51, of Davisville, W.Va., passed away on May 23, 2013 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.He was born May 28, 1961, in Wood Co., W.Va., a son of the late Charles Otto and Evelyn Beatrice Bolen Johnson.Glen was formerly a self-employed contractor and attended The Cross Church in Parkersburg.He is survived by four sisters, Donna (Ron) Lowers of Davisville, Karen (Dale) Johnston of Dobson, N.C., Helen (Clair) McCloud of Jackson, Ohio and Rhonda (Steve) Dountz of Mt. Sterling, Ohio; three brothers, John (Beulah) Johnson of Vincent, Ohio, Charles (Vickie) Johnson of Yadkinville, N.C. and Lewis Johnson of Coolville, Ohio; one special great-nephew, Braxton Johnson who was “like a son”; several nieces and nephews; and his companion, his dog, George.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers; and three sisters.Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Roger Morrison officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.Tuesday at the funeral home.The family would like to thank the Davita Dialysis Center and the doctors who cared for Glen and also his therapist, Michelle Andrews.
