George Buffington Mills

George B. Mills, 90, of Parkersburg, W.Va. went home to be with the Lord April 28, 2012, at Chateau Grove Personal Care, Barboursville, W.Va.He was born Aug. 1, 1921 in Wood County, W.Va., son of the late Charles E. and Mamie Buffington Mills. He was a member of Grace Gospel Church in Pettyville, W.Va., retired from Kaiser Aluminum, and enjoyed fishing, gardening and traveling.He is survived by his loving wife, Elsie, of 70 years; four daughters, Carolyn Joyce (Daniel) Hurley, Patricia Sue (Larry) Curry, Judy Belinda (Michael) Waitkus, and Pamela Kay (Leon) Roberts. He was a loving father, husband and grandfather to 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son George Michael Mills.Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday May 2, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Mike Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home
