Gary Wayne WinansGary Wayne Winans, 64 of Washington, W.Va. passed away March 21, 2013 at Camden-Clark Medical Center-Memorial Campus.He was born Nov. 24, 1948 in Parkersburg a son of the late Dale H. and Maggie Irene Lemon Winans. He was a 1966 graduate of Parkersburg High School. He was a self-employed over the road truck driver, had an excavating service and in the past farmed and raised cattle. Gary was a member of the FFA Alumni, and the Ford & Mustang Club of Parkersburg. He was a member of the Lubeck Church of Christ for several years.He is survived by his wife, Gladys Sharon Jones Winans; three sons, Derran Winans (Janet) of Parkersburg, W.Va., Greg Winans of Washington, W.Va., and Steve Winans of Parkersburg, W.Va.; a sister, Linda Deem (Roger) of Texas; a brother, Dale Winans (Shirley) of Illinois; and a granddaughter, Amanda Winans of Parkersburg, W.Va., and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Shelia Connor.Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg with Evangelist Steve Fuchs officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
