Gary L. Swisher Jr, 44, of Gallipolis Ferry, W.Va. passed away at his residence Thursday, April 11, 2013.He was born August 29, 1968 at Fort Lewis in Washington State, a son of Gary L. Swisher Sr and the late Saundra Faye Jackson Swisher.He was a member of Faith Gospel Church in Gallipolis Ferry, a United States Army Veteran and worked for the United States Postal Service. Gary was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed and never forgotten.He is survived by his wife, Melanie Sue Clemens; one daughter, Anessa Swisher of King George, Virginia; two sons, Kurtis L. Swisher of King George, Virginia and Allston Davis of Gallipolis Ferry, W.Va.; one sister, Nikita Swisher of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two brothers Aaron Swisher and Brian Swisher, both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one grandson, Gage Swisher; and father and mother-in-law, Daniel “Dink” and Deborah Clemens.In addition to his mother, Gary was preceded in death by one sister, Angela Dawn Swisher.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Lloyd Keith officiating. Burial will follow at the Crystal Lake Masonic Cemetery, West Union, W.Va. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
