Williams, Jr., 83, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, W.Va.He was born November 16, 1930 in Galloway, W.Va., a son of the late Fred J. Williams, Sr. and Florence McMurdo Williams.Fred retired in 1990 from G.E. Plastics as a chemical operator. He was a graduate of Grafton High School class of 1948. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping at Stonewall Jackson Lake. He was known around home as “Mr. Fix it”.He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Louise Woodyard Williams; three sons, Tim Williams (Carolyn) and Rick Williams, all of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Mike Williams (Vickie) of Belleville, W.Va.; two sisters, Frances Hughes (Jim) of Olney, Md. and Freda Lough (David) of New Martinsville, W.Va.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Patty Ann Williams.A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Avenue, Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Jim Yoak officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:30 p.m. until time of services at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.
