Frank H. Price, 86 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away July 26, 2014 at his residence.He was born October 3, 1927 in Johnson County, Kentucky, the son of the late Clark and Alma Ward Price.Frank served in Korea and Vietnam as a helicopter pilot and was shot down three times. He retired in 1974 after 28 years of service. Thereafter he served as a helicopter pilot for 12 years with A.E.P. in the Lancaster, OH area. He belonged to the Southside Southern Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife, Vera Morgan Price; one son, Frank R. Price (Angie) of Fayetteville, NC; one stepson, Nile Armstrong (Winnie) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; three brothers, Claude (Kay), Eddie (Lynn) and William Price; one sister, Jnan Bostic of Detroit, Mich.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wives; Elli Price and Garnet Price; one brother, Henry Price; and one sister, Edith Fay Craddock.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Paul Drake officiating and military services by American Legion Post #15. Burial will follow the service at Pisgah Cemetery, Wirt Count, W.Va. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
