Francis Davis

Francis “Pete” Davis, 73, of Deerwalk, W.Va., went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 21, 2011 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.Pete (as he was known to his friends and family) was born Sept. 30, 1937, in Wirt County, W.Va., to Jess and Ada Jean Patterson Davis.Pete was a graduate of Parkersburg High School class of 1957. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Dupont Washington Works after 34 years of service. Pete was a member of Middle Ridge Baptist Church. He lived to enjoy serving the Lord.He is survived by his wife, Doris Davis; two daughters, Heather Davis of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Cammie Dandrea of Pittsburg, Pa.; two sons, Mark (Ramona) Kincaid and Patrick (Barbara) Kincaid, both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; a special cousin, Mike (Sandy) Newlon, with who were both raised together, of Marietta, Ohio; and 12 grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Patrick Todd Kincaid Jr.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Rev. Bob Alfred and Rev. Roger Barnes officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
