Frances L. Wable, 95, of Vienna, W.Va. died Saturday, April 12, 2014, at Worthington Manor in Parkersburg, W.Va. She resided at the Plesantview Towers in Vienna.She was born Nov. 25, 1918, in Charleston W.Va., a daughter of the late Cleveland S. and Alice S. Hager Fry.Frances was a member of the Vienna Baptist Church, was formally employed at the Parkersburg News and Sentinel and Public Debt as a proof reader. She also enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and traveling.She is survived by one brother, Joseph Fry of Indiana; three nephews, Jim Vougan of South Carolina, Joe Fry Jr. of California and Larry Fry of Indiana; and special friends Steve and Judy Wheatley of Vienna, W.Va. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Paul Wable; one brother, Clyde Fry; and one sister, Nancy Vougan.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday April 16, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
