Frances Hudkins

Frances “Fran” Hudkins, 60, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away March 19, 2012 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus following an extended illness.She was born December 8, 1951, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Earl O. and Carrie L. Spiker.She was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and Glenville State College.She received her Master's Degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary and she has worked as an employment counselor with Job Services in both Parkersburg and Clarksburg. She was 4-H Allstar lifetime. She had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #14, Parkersburg and most recently attended Lauckport Baptist Church where her husband had been the interim pastor.She is survived by her husband, Kelvin, who is a retired minister; and their son, Aaron, who is a student at Liberty University where he major in religion.Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Rev. Larry Hooper officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
