Floy Evelyn Schreckengost

Floy Evelyn Crislip Schreckengost, 97, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away May 31, 2014, at the Worthington Nursing Facility.She was born Oct. 6, 1916, in Roane County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ernest and Odious Greathouse Crislip.Floy was a homemaker and was a member of Spreading Truth Ministries Church in Parkersburg.She is survived by her two sons, Donald Schreckengost and wife, Margaret, of Parkersburg and Robert Schreckengost and wife, Diane, of Parkersburg; three sisters; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thurl Schreckengost; three sisters; and three brothers.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Ralph Tisdale officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the funeral home.
