Floral B. Kreaps

Floral B. Kreaps, 82, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away August 11, 2014 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.She was born April 1, 1932, in Harrison County, W.Va. a daughter of the late Arthur and Audrey Day.Floral retired from the General Motors Corporation in the credit dept. having worked in Clarksburg and Parkersburg. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, a member of the Parkersburg Garden Club, and was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Parkersburg where she was a volunteer.She is survived by one sister, Frances Gensel of Akron, Ohio; two nieces, Deborah Hendricks of Morgantown, W.Va. and Joyce Day of Greenville, NC.; a nephew, Thomas Gensel of Akron, Ohio; and two great-nephews, Jeremy and Riley Gensel and a special brother-in-law Norman Kreaps of Vienna.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter Gabbert and Donald Kreaps; and one sister, Virginia Day.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, W.Va. with Reverend Joyce Day officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Clarksburg.Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
