Fern V. (Huggins) Patterson

Fern V. (Huggins) Patterson 93, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, June 24, 2013, at her son's home in Columbus, Ohio, with her children by her side.She was the daughter of the late Luther P. (Lute) Huggins and Dana I (Corbin) Huggins.She attended Family Worship Center in Reno, Ohio and dearly loved her church family.She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend who was loved by many. She was a housewife who took care of her children and anyone else who needed food or shelter.Surviving are her children, Louis P. Patterson and wife, Janet and children Dana, Alisha, Jason and Mandy, Patty McBee and husband, Ben and children Brian, Deena and Shannon, Linda Huggins and her son, Brad Huggins.She had seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She loved them all and it brought a beautiful smile to her face when they came around.She had many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly, especially Linda Carpenter, Margaret Cutright and Mary Melrose who were her special companions.She is survived by one sister, Betty Neighbors who resides in Columbus, Ohio.She was preceded in death by her husband Louis E. Patterson, five sisters, Margaret, Della, Naomi, Gladys and Darlene; four brothers, Bernard, Gene, Don and Bob.Funeral services will be Noon Friday, June 28, 2013 with Pastor Charlie Hall officiating. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, W.Va. Interment will be at Corbin Cemetery on Bull Run Road, Waverly, W.Va. followed by fellowship at Pleasant Grove Church.
