Eyvonne “Jean” Husk, 71, of Parkersburg, W.Va., went to be with her Lord on December 7, 2012 at her residence. She was born November 20, 1941 in Fleming-Neon, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Dewey and Effie Lucas Hall.Jean was a homemaker and retired after twenty-three years of service from the Bureau of the Public Debt. She was an active member of the South Parkersburg Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher and choir member. She was also active in the Church's Lydia Women's Circle and spent time traveling on Mission Trips with her Church family to Russia twice. She held a love for music and very much enjoyed taking piano lessons. Surviving is her loving husband, Robert D. Husk; one daughter, Wendy Gibson Mills (Joe) of Brohard, W.Va.; two sons, Bradley Gibson of Atlanta, GA, and Brian Gibson (Kelly) of Vienna, W.Va.; two sisters, Junie Hall of Mishawaka, IN, and Faye Davis of Garner, NC; and one granddaughter, Rachel Ann Gibson of Vienna, W.Va. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Dewey Hall, Jr. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday December 10, 2012 at South Parkersburg Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Busch officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. and one hour prior to services on Monday at the church.
