Eva Curry Taylor, 96, of Parkersburg, formerly of Pennsboro, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on May 10, 2012 at the Willows Center in Parkersburg.She was born November 6, 1915 in Harrisville, W.Va., the daughter of the late Walter and Roka Keith Curry.Eva served as House Director of the Women's Hall at Glenville State College 1961 to 1977. She was a member of North Parkersburg Baptist Church and Eastern Star Harmony Lodge 59 of Pennsboro.She is survived by a son, Wendall (Vonda) Taylor of Paden City, W.Va.; two daughters, Brenda (Jerry) Fleming of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Carole (Ron) Dawson of New Martinsville, W.Va.; grandchildren, Timothy B. (Lisa) Taylor, Teena (Rhett) Wetzel, Kimberly (Jeff) Carr, Michael Dawson, Patrick Dawson, James (Monica) Fleming, Jill Fleming, and Christopher (Jennifer) Fleming; great-grandchildren, Kevin Carr, Kristin Carr, Dana Cluff, Tyler Fleming, Taylor Wetzel, and Jonathon, Joshua and Joseph Taylor; and great-great grandchild, Ella Marie Carr.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver D. Taylor, two great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters.Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2012 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Bill Brown officiating. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F Cemetery in Harrisville, W.Va. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
