Ethel M. "Sis" Swiger

Ethel M. “Sis” Swiger, 73, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at the St. Joseph's Campus of Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born July 10, 1940 in Clarksburg, W.Va., a daughter of Thurwell and Elsie Bunnell. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching game shows on television.Ethel is survived by two daughters, Misty Shamblin and Mary Ann Swiger, both of Parkersburg; one son, Kenny Neal Bunnell of Parkersburg; six grandchildren, Amber, who was her caregiver, Brittany, Cody, Josh, Tiffany, and Christina; and great-granddaughter, Shyanne.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wayne Swiger on February 13, 1999; two sisters, Karen Bunnell and Tressie King; and one brother, Thurwell Bunnell, Jr.In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public viewing or service. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
