Ernestine Marie Conger

Ernestine Conger 78, of Parkersburg, W.Va., an eleven year resident of the Willows Nursing Home, passed away January 1, 2014 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born August 8, 1935 in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Ernest A. Rice and Garnet Rice.She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was a secretary for many businesses in town.Ernestine is survived by one daughter, Diana (Mark) Harrisof Marietta, Ohio; one son, Mark (Jacqueline) Conger of Washington, W.Va.; seven grandchildren, Tiffany (Philip) Bonner, Alex Conger, Onalee Conger, Patrick Conger, Brady (Cathy) Harris, Donovan (Nikki) Harris and Ian Harris; and six great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Conger; and two brothers, Ernest G. Rice and Don Rice.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg, W.Va. with Reverend Leon Valentine officiating. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memory Gardens, Parkersburg. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service.
