Elsie Irene Mills

Elsie Irene Mills, 91 of Parkersburg, W.Va. went home to be with the Lord June 19, 2013, at Chateau Grove Personal Care in Barboursville, W.Va.She was born November 22, 1921 in Braxton County, W.Va. a daughter of the late William Harrison and Onie Mae Layman Weaver. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Gospel Church in Pettyville, W.Va.She is survived by four daughters, Carolyn Joyce (Daniel) Hurley, Patricia Sue (Larry) Curry, Judy Belinda (Michael) Waitkus, and Pamela Kay (Leon) Roberts; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, George B. Mills; a son, George Michael Mills; and several brothers and sisters.Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia, with Pastor Mike Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be noon to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
