Elizabeth “Jane” WhitlatchShe fell asleep in death on December 13, 2013.She was born March 17, 1923 to George Henry Hart and Goldie Evelynn Starkey Hart, she was 90 years old.She dedicated her life to Jehovah God71 years ago and became one ofJehovah's Witnesses. She looked forward to the time when Jesus promised that “those in the memorial tombs will.. come out.” (John 5:28, 29) In harmony with God's original purpose, those resurrected as humans will have the opportunity to live on a paradise earth. (Luke 23:43) This promised future includes perfect health and everlasting life for obedient humans. The Bible says: “the righteous themselves will possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it.” —Psalm 37:29.She leaves behind her beloved husband of 72 years, Glen Whitlatch; her daughter, Myrna Beanard (Paul); her son, Jeffrey Whitlatch (Sharon); her grandchildren, Darien Beanard, Glen Beanard, Matthew Whitlatch, Michael Whitlatch,Bradley Whitlatch, Michelle Hazelett, and also her beloved Jenny Ellis who she considered her granddaughter as well; her great-grandchildren, Patricia Beanard, Kaylee Beanard, Anthony Beanard, Arielle Beanard, Ava Whitlatch, Kaylee Whitlatch, Victoria Whitlatch, Rylee Cottrell, Brittany Whitlatch, Brooklyn Whitlatch, Tyler Whitlatch and Cody Hazelett; and many, many friends that she loved so very dearly.She loved her ministry work the most of all and was active in that to her death. She also loved her vegetable garden which she planted every year until about five years ago when her health wouldn't allow her to do so anymore. Through the years she was a mother and homemaker. When a repair or addition was needed on her house she would actively do the work on it. She also had sold Avon, Home Interiors, and many other things. She led a very full and active life and will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 21, 2013. David Zinn will be the speaker at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on College Parkway in Parkersburg, W.Va. The family will receive friends at the Kingdom Hall beginning at 3:00 p.m.
