Eldred R. “Edna” Morgan Davis, 79, of Washington, W.Va., went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2012 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.She was born July 4, 1933, in Akron, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harley Morgan Sr. and Vinnie Brannon Morgan.She was a graduate of Wirt County High School with the class of 1951, a member of South Parkersburg Baptist Church and the Order of Eastern Star #14 Lodge. Surviving Eldred is her husband Ruel R. Davis; two sons, Steven Morgan Davis (Becky) of Veto, Ohio and Stuart Lee Davis (Robin) of Washington, W.Va.; a sister-in-law, Norma Morgan; five grandchildren, Joshua, Staci (Andrew) Morgan, and Matthew, and Morgan and Carly; a great-granddaughter, Delaney Morgan; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harley Morgan Jr. and Charles Hugh Morgan; one sister, Ada Ruth Simmons; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law.Eldred was the last of her immediate family.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Joe Busch officiating. Interment will follow at Merrill Chapel Cemetery in Wirt County, W.Va. Visitation will be from 12 Noon – 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
