Edward Robert Meeley

Edward R. Meeley, 87, of Belpre, Ohio, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 at his residence.He was the son of the late Earl and Esther Anderson Meeley. Edward had been employed in the oil and gas industry, had served in the United States Army, and was an avid WVU fan and golfer.Edward is survived by three daughters, Rachel DelToro (Johnny) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Rhonda Meeley of Parkersburg, W.Va, and Patty Low (Dan) of Williamstown, New Jersey; two sons, Tom Meeley (Missy) of Seguin, Texas and Robin Meeley of Eustis, Fla.; ten grandchildren, Jacqueline, Crystal, Tara, Chad, Stacy, Lauren, Jacob, Jeremy, Nicholas and Cooper; and four great-grandchildren, Gavin, Lizzy, Dustin and Alyssa. Special thanks to his granddaughter, Tara, for taking such wonderful care of him during his last months.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jane; one son, Jerry Meeley; and one brother, Gerald Meeley.Graveside services will be held November 12, 2011 at the McKean Memorial Park Cemetery in McKean County, Pennsylvania. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
