Edna May Collins Smith, 83 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away October 2, 2012 at her residence.She was born September 28, 1929 in Wood County, W.Va. and was raised by her grandmother Ethel Deremer.She worked as a waitress at G. C. Murphy's and was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading and spending time with all of her family. She loved watching The Gaither's and big time wrestling.She is survived by four daughters, Bonnie Torbert, and Brenda Collins of Marietta, Ohio, and Belinda McConaha and Benita Daniell of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two sons, Chris David Collins of Texas, and Jim J. Collins of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one brother, Bill Robb (Barbara) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Edna was preceded in death by her parents, her grandmother that raised her, her first husband, James Collins; her second husband, Russell Smith; one son, Rodney M Collins; one grandson, Michael McConaha; and one great-grandson, Andrew M. McPherson.The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Herrman and his nurse Lori.Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va., with Pastor John Strimer officiating. Burial will follow at Parkersburg Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
