Edna Mae Reed Cokeley, 77, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on May 21, 2013 in her home surrounded by her three loving daughters and other family.She was born May 24, 1935, in Brooksville, W.Va., a daughter of the late Earl Roy and Fannie Reed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl D.; her second husband, Howard O. Cokeley; her brothers, Jack and Bob; and her sisters, Helen and Esther.She is survived by her brother, Cody Reed; her sister, Mary Pickrell; three loving daughters, Vicky Mace, Susan Bell, and Janet Moreland, who spent the last years of her life lovingly caring for her; six grandchildren, Michael Bell, Melissa Moreland, Justin Moreland, Joseph Bell, Kerra Moore, and Mary Taylor; and eight great-grandchildren, Wesley, Skylee Mae, Ryleigh, Aaliyah, Kaden, Reagan, Haylee and Elliot Mae.Edna loved Jesus, her family and her faithful companion, Tiny, who stayed by her side 14 years.She will be greatly missed.The family would like to give a special thank you to the amazing women who provided in-home care to Edna in her last days, Kim Carpenter, Freda Moore, Martha Simmons, Vanessa Baker and Lora Kilby – you will forever be angels in our hearts, thank you for blessing us with your care. Thank you also to the Hospice staff who were so helpful and kind during this time.Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Daniel Morikone officiating. Burial will follow at Lubeck Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of service on Friday.
