Edith I. Fluharty, 84, of Vienna, left this world to be with her Lord and Savior January25, 2011, at Wyngate Senior Living Community.Edith was born June 13, 1926 in Mannington, W.Va. to Laura Pearl Kendal and ChesterKendal.Edith is a member of Parkersburg Eastern Star and Wesley United Methodist Church inVienna for 60 years. She was dedicated to her church by serving many hours and gave her talents to the circle in which she was a member. She was a volunteer at Camden Clark Hospital for a number of years and delivered Meals on Wheels.She is preceded in death by her loving husband Francis of more than 50 years, and siblings Delores, Buddy, Gene and Art.She is survived by her daughter Pamela Coulbourne of Princeton, W.Va., son, Dean Fluharty of Lenoir, N. C., granddaughters Anna Marie Coulbourne of Columbus, Ohio , Jennifer Hart of Vienna, W. Va., great-grandson Benjamin Hart, and brother-in-lawBobbie Gene Fluharty.Visitation will be from 2:00p.m.-4:00p.m. and 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. on Friday, January 28 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home in Vienna.Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 29 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna withthe Dr. William R. Thomas from Amedisys Hospice of Parkersburg officiating.Entombment will be at Evergreen North Cemetery Mausoleum.
