Edith Becker O'DellEdith England Becker O'Dell, 90, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on April 15, 2011 at The Village in Ravenswood, W.Va.She was born November 14, 1920, in Hensley, W.Va., a daughter of the late Harrison and Lyda Norton England.Edith was the co-owner/operator of Becker's 7th Street Market and attended Fairview United Methodist Church.She is survived by two daughters, Doris Jean Knight of Davisville, W.Va. and Margie L. (Eric) Flinn of Ravenswood; two sons, Sam (Eva) O'Dell and Edward (Margaret) O'Dell, both of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren, Tammy (Duane) McDaniel of New Tazewell, Tenn., Robert (Vickie) O'Dell of Newport News, Va., Lisa (Mike) Melrose and Rita (Jeff) Cornell both of Parkersburg, Jerry (Debbie) Dickel of Mineral Wells, W.Va., Scott Dickel and Regina (Mark) Vaughan of Davisville, W.Va. and Kristina (Chad) Matics of Ravenswood; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one brother, Billie (Marilyn) England of Pontiac, Mich.; one sister,Nora (Marion) O'Dell, of Crossville, Tenn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Duling O'Dell and her second husband, Charles L. Becker; two brothers, Dennis England and Bobby England; and four sisters, Bertha Hatmaker, Stella Goade, Nellie Christian and Juanita Childers.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 18 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg with Evangelist Elvis Galbreath officiating.Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, at the funeral home.
