Douglas Wayne Shaulis

Douglas W. Shaulis, 57, previously of Huntington, W.Va., passed awaySeptember 21, 2012, in Parkersburg, W.Va.He was the son of the late Vernon Davis Shaulis and Louise Pizer Shaulis.Doug was recently retired from Mildred Mitchell Bateman Hospital after 32 years of service.He is survived by his brothers, Barry (Barb) of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Vernon Jr. of Aurora, Ill.; sisters, Caryl and Kerry of Bethany, W.Va.; nephews, Todd, Shawn, David and Steven; nieces, Lauren, Amy and Sherri; three great-nephews; and one great-niece.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his lifetime friend, Susan Winters; brother, David; and sister, Penny.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Jim Lynch officiating.
