Dorothy Evelyn Westfall, 88, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on October 30, 2013 at Eagle Point Nursing Home.She was born August 5, 1925, in Marietta, Ohio, a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Brum Starkey.Dorothy was a treacher's aide for the Intermediate School of Beaver County, Pa. and was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed making afghans for family and friends and was a member of South Parkersburg Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Burke Westfall; three children, Thomas (Pamela) Westfall of Willow Springs, N.C., Gilda Haddox of Parkersburg, W.Va., and James (Terry) Westfall of Easley, S.C.; seven grandchildren, Greg (Jennifer) Westfall, Shelly Westfall, Ben (Kimber) Haddox, Michael (Jen) Haddox, Travis Westfall, Tyler Westfall and Trey Westfall; and two great-grandchildren, Maddie Westfall and Greyson Haddox.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Joe Busch and Pastor Michael Haddox officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
