Dorothy May Stewart

Dorothy M. Stewart, 98 of Vienna, W.Va. went home to be with her Lord, March 1, 2012 at Worthington Manor Care Center.She was born March 30, 1913 in Wood County, W.Va. a daughter of the late Charles S. and Zelma Kesterson Fox. Dorothy formerly worked at the Parkersburg Silk Mill and Union Insulating Co. Dorothy was active in the Vienna Floral Club and she loved being with and caring for her family. She was an active and charter member of the Independent Baptist Church in Vienna. She also volunteered at St. Joseph's Hospital in Parkersburg for over 45 years.She is survived by one son, Dean Clark (Sharon) of St. Marys, W.Va.; one brother, Vincent Fox (Jane)of Bradenton, Florida; four grandchildren, Martin Clark (Verna) of Waverly, W.Va., Jennifer VanFossen (Greg) of Marietta, Ohio, Christopher Clark (Tammy), of Canal Winchester, Ohio, and Heather Becker (Bruce) of St. Marys, W.Va.; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Clark; her second husband, Dean Stewart; three brothers; and three sisters.Funeral services for Dorothy will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Independent Baptist Church in Vienna with Pastor Michael Elder and Pastor Robert May officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sundayat Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. and one hour prior to services at the church Monday.
