Doris Lucille Hungate, 83, of Parkersburg, went to be with her Lord on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Camden-Clark Medical Center, St. Joseph's Campus.She was born March 30, 1929 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Martin Hugh and Osa Belle Collins Richards.Lucille was a homemaker and a child care provider. She was an active member of the 19th Street Church of God in Parkersburg, where she was a former pianist and sang in The Ladies Trio.She is survived by her son, David Hungate and his wife, Debra, of Vienna, W.Va.; three sisters, Dorothy Dailey and Bernie Ball of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Barbara Dailey of Vienna, W.Va.; two grandchildren, Michelle Atkinson (Eddie) of Vienna, W.Va. and Joey Hungate (Amanda) of Little Hocking, Ohio; four great-grandchildren, Kristin, Micah, and Caleb Atkinson, and Cole Hungate; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hungate; three brothers, Hugh, Lemuel and William Richards; and a sister, Beulah Posey Mahoney.Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the 19th Street Church of God in Parkersburg with Reverend Eddie Atkinson and Bishop Jimmie Cox officiating. Private burial will follow at Rockland Cemetery in Belpre, Ohio. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the Church.
