Doris Ilene Chapman

Doris Ilene Smith Bartlett Whited Chapman passed away on July 18, 2012 at the Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.She was born June 14, 1935 in Bellville, W.Va., daughter of the late Raymond (R.D.) Smith and Lula Mae Smith.Doris is survived by her husband, Thomas L. Chapman I of Belpre, Ohio; two sons, Paul Roger Bartlett (Kathy) of Petroleum, W.Va., and Randall Bartlett (Sherry) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two daughters, Sheila Lawrence of Belpre, Ohio, and Jacqueline Cash ofHickory, NC; and four step children, Thomas L. Chapman II (Barbara Green) of Parkersburg, W.Va., Louise Stewart and Jamie Chapman of Florida, and Robert Deo Whited of Vienna, W.Va.Maternal grandchildren are, Kenny Bartlett, Kevin Bartlett, Heath Eaton, Aaron Eaton, Robert Bell, Peggy Tucker and Samantha Bartlett; maternal great- grandchildren, Miranda Bartlett, Megan Bartlett, Tokeah Ellyson, Michael Ellyson, Natalie Bell, Millea Eaton, Olivia Eaton, and Ciera Barrlett. She is also survived by fourteen step grandchildren; fourteen step great-grandchildren; and one step great-great-grandchild.In addition to her parents she was also preceeded in death by her brother, Clearance (Jack) Smith; and sister, Betty Maxine Smith both of Bellville, W.Va.; former husbands, Paul Bartlett and Ottis Whited; one step granddaughter Patty Green; stepdaughter, Delores (Sis) Delaney Armstrong; step son, Michael Whited; and son-in-law, Joe Lawrence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd. Belpre, Ohio with Rev. Paul McGuire officiating. Interment will follow at the Rockland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
