Dora J. Wright

Dora Wright, 87 of Englewood, Ohio passed away Dec. 2, 2012 at Spring Creek Rehabilitation Center in Huber Heights.Dora was a longtime resident of Boaz, W.Va. She was a member of the Sand Hill Explorers 4H Club for 40 years and a Fair Board director of the W.Va. Interstate Fair. She was a volunteer and an avid gardener and baker.She is survived by her sons, Christopher (Susan) of Englewood, Ohio, and Eric (Cindy) of Porterfield, Ohio; sister, Dorothy (Willard) White of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; brother, Byrl Buzzard of Ravenswood, W.Va.; sister-in-law, Donna Buzzard of Murphytown, W.Va.; and granddaughters, Heaven and Celeena Wright of Parkersburg, W.Va.She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Chantilla Buzzard; her husband, Kenneth Wright; brothers, Kenneth (Bernice) Buzzard, Donald (Madeline)Buzzard, Okey (Gerrie) Buzzard, Maurice Buzzard; and sister, Ora McAtee.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Don Yeager. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to the Wood County 4H.
