Donna J. Veon, 78 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born August 21, 1934 in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Hunter F. and Geraldine M. Farnsworth Barnhouse. Donna was retired from the Wood County Board of Education and enjoyed quilting and artex painting. She is survived by her five children, Carol J. (John) Clem and Charlene M. (Ronald) Talbott all of Vienna, W.Va., Constance S. (Richard) Criss of Parkersburg, W.Va., Norma L. (Scott) Lontz of Vienna, W.Va., and Teresa A. (Glen Jr.) Lester of Waverly, W.Va.; two step-daughters, Wilma J. Waldron and Connie S. (Randall) Newlon all of Pelzer, SC; a step-daughter-in-law, Billie J. Veon of Willard, Ohio; one sister, Barbara Knopp of Coolville, Ohio; one brother, Bill (Cathy) Barnhouse of Lottridge, Ohio; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Veon; her brothers, Buck, Raymond, Ralph, Dick, John, Donald, and Jim Barnhouse; two sisters, Nancy Bond and Sarah Bond; and a step-son, John Paul Veon. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Craig Holler officiating. Interment will follow at the Slate Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:oo p.m. to 8:oo p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
