The link is under her picture.Donna June Martin, 92, of Parkland Place, Parkersburg, W.Va., formerly of Washington, W.Va., died on Jan. 11, 2013 at Worthington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.June was born Dec. 19, 1920, in Ripley, Jackson County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Cyrus A. and Effie A. Chancey Davis.June had previously worked at Greiner's Bakery and Diamond Department Store.She was a talented seamstress, an avid scrabble player, loved card games, bingo and animals. She was the oldest member of Lynn St. Church of Christ and a member of the James Wood Chapter of the DAR.She is survived by two daughters, Janet (Loyd) Williams of Washington, W.Va. and Carole (Donald) Powell of Wheelersburg, Ohio; one son, Charles W. Martin Jr. of Washington, W.Va.; one brother, Harold C. Davis of ParkersburgW.Va.; eight grandchildren, Steve Williams, Russ Williams, Tena Martin, John Martin, Aaron Martin, Angie Oldaker, Don Powell and Julie Jennings; 15 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Martin Sr.; one brother, Paul Davis; four sisters, Erma Fouse, Naomi Giffen, Joanne Bower and Bette Sweeney; and one great-granddaughter.Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, 2013 at Lynn St. Church of Christ in Parkersburg with Teddy Tackett officiating. Interment will follow at Willow Island Cemetery in Pleasants County, W.Va. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. and one hour prior to the services Monday at the church.The family would like to thank the wonderful friends at Parkland Place who took such good care of and loved June.
