Donna Mae Eaton Carder, 75, of Parkersburg, W.Va., went to Heaven on Nov. 27, 2011 at her home in Bradenton, Fla.She was the youngest child of the late Wilbert and Effie (Stephens) Eaton. She was a 1954 Parkersburg High School graduate. Donna was a homemaker, Girl Scout leader, and Sunday school teacher when her children were young. She retired from One Valley Bank in Lubeck, W.Va. where she was Vice-President. She lived in Bradenton for many winters and was active in the garden club there.Donna was known for her creativity in making crafts, drawing and cooking. She had a passion for her miniature dachshunds – Zack, Duncan and Mitzy. But most of all, she loved Jesus and spending time with her family.Donna attended Lubeck Community Baptist Church. She demonstrated Christ's love to others, particularly through the loving care she provided to her ill husband.Donna is survived by her husband of 56 years, William Paul Carder; daughters, Debra Carder and Julie Tallhamer (Randy); brother, Dale Eaton (Janet); and five grandchildren, Erica and Amber Shreeves, Brittany, Randy and Brandon Tallhamer.Her brother, Bernard Eaton and her sister, Faye Cox preceded her in death.Family and friends are invited to celebrate Donna's life from 4:00 p.m. to8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va.
