Donald Edward Wilkison

Donald E. Wilkison Jr., 52, of Davisville, W.Va., passed away January 25, 2012 at Camden-Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus. He was born April 17, 1959, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late Donald E. Wilkison Sr. and Gertrude Modena Wilkison..Donald was formerly employed as a truck driver with Serco Corp. of Ellenboro, W.Va. He was a true outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also held a passion for motorcycles and was a longtime member of the “Southern Cruisers Club”. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending time with his family, singing karaoke. Surviving is his loving wife, Melissa A. Wilkison; one daughter, Ashley Wilkison of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two sons, Brian Hollister (Michelle) of Richlands, NC, and Doug Hollister (Heather) of Waverly, W.Va.; two sisters, Jenny Boone (Wayne) of Rockport, W.Va., and Denise Wilkison also of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one brother, Larry Wilkison of Williamstown, W.Va.; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 29, 2012, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Wayne Boone officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday and from noon until time of services on Sunday at the funeral home.
