Donald A. “Donnie” Lemon, 55, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away on September 18, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family.He was born August 14, 1958, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of Lloyd and Kathryn Brown Lemon of Mineral Wells.Donnie enjoyed hunting, fishing and sharing the outdoors with his family. He was a Union Electrician for IBEW 968 and was a deacon at Rockport Church of Christ.In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Terry Townsend Lemon; two sons, Zachary (LeeAnn) Lemon of Ripley, W.Va. and Benjamin Lemon of Milton, W.Va.; one daughter, Cassandra Lemon of South Charleston, W.Va.; two brothers, Ronald (Bobbi) Lemon and David (Valerie) Lemon, both of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; one sister, Debbie (Rex) Longwell of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by one brother, Lonnie Lemon.Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Evangelist Steve Morgan and Evangelist Jay D. Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.Due to Donnie's avid support of Parkersburg South's Football Program, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Erickson All-Sport Facility, 4601 Camden Ave., Parkersburg, WV26101.
