Denzil Clinton Wigal, 81, of Washington, W.Va., passed away on November 26, 2012 at his residence.He was born May 25, 1931, in Wood Co., W.Va., a son of the late Ira Dale and Cleona King Wigal.Denzil was a graduate of Parkersburg High School with the class of 1949. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict serving from 1951-1955. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a mailman after 24 years of service.He enjoyed the outdoors and cattle farming. He was a member of AARP and attended the Church of Christ in Wadesville.He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Letha Bibbee Wigal; three children, Dale Eugene (Barbara) Wigal and Reta Jean Lyons, both of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Debra Sue (Floyd) Sims of Washington, W.Va.; one brother, William “Bill” Dwain (June) Wigal of Washington, W.Va.; and one grandson, Anthony Wayne Lyons of Florida.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Ray Wigal; and an infant brother, Dwight Edward Wigal.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Evangelist Randy Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Wigal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
